Whether your special day is quickly approaching, your quarter of a century anniversary is right around the corner, or it’s time to renew your vows, we want to brighten the day with a bridal piece in the works and a beverage in your hand.
So what are you looking for at this event you might ask? We’ll help you find the perfect new piece, or remount jewelry or even restyle an existing piece you’re looking to renew. Diamond wedding bands help seal the deal and sit proudly next to that special diamond engagement ring. They’re the final commitment and that promise from the minute you say “I do.”
Wedding rings are like couples. The wedding band doesn’t complete the engagement ring but instead complements it. If your partner’s engagement ring is the star of the show, add that tender accent with a subtler wedding band. If the engagement ring sits more on the simple side, make the wedding band stand out as loud and proud.
Now, anniversary bands are a different story. Diamond anniversary bands are the big kahunas of marriage jewelry and represent those great milestones. After the first year of marriage, we recommend a gold anniversary ring. Whether it’s a yellow ring, white ring, or even rose gold ring, gold can bring in that combination of contemporary and vintage style.
We also have the timeless classic diamond ring which is strong, has superior shine, and is downright beautiful. As the saying goes, “diamonds are a girl’s best friend”. We have plenty of loose diamonds to complete the ring of your partner’s dreams. We’d say we’re experts in this department, and here’s what you’ll need to know before you get started on your diamond ring.
The four c’s of diamonds will help guide you in what you’re looking for when creating the perfect diamond ring. The first “C” stands for the cut of a diamond. The diamond-cut or gemstone cut determines its shape, and therefore, the brilliance of the diamond and how well it will shine when hitting light. Different diamond cut styles such as round rings, princess cut rings, pear-shaped rings, oval cut rings, and radiant rings, are just a few of many more. The next “C” refers to the color of the diamond. Diamonds range in color from being completely transparent or colorless to having a more yellow tint on the color scale. When it comes to gemstones, the primary pure color is what is assessed rather than the tint of a colorless gemstone.
Now, we have the “C” of diamond or gemstone carats. A carat is not the size of a diamond or gemstone, but the weight of it. One carat equals roughly 0.2 grams, which is almost equivalent to the weight of a paperclip.
Finally, our last “C” stands for clarity. Clarity is determined by the number of imperfections or inclusions in a diamond or gemstone. Although it’s impossible to notice such imperfections without the help of a magnifying glass, such imperfections can distort the appearance and brilliance of the diamond or gem.
Now that you’re an expert on the four c’s, you can begin planning the perfect diamond engagement ring or wedding band or piece for jewelry restyling.
